Job description

The Go-to-Market Operations (GTM) team is the engine that ensures Google’s evolving Ads business runs smoothly. As a Global Solutions Lead, you are the vital link between Google’s product innovation and our global business. You will be responsible for leading cross-team strategies that act as the connective tissue between Product Management, regional Go-To-Market and in-country Specialist teams, and other GPS teams. You will work in close collaboration with our partners in-region to understand the specific needs of our customers and account teams around the world.

Global Solutions is the link between Google products and business. Your focus is to help turn innovation into complete, packaged tools that allow our customers to get the most that they need from our products. As part of the Global Solutions team, you'll help to ensure that Google has adopted the right strategy for our products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000-$179,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Identify & align on key opportunities for Agentic Commerce retail across brand and direct response ads.
  • Collaborate and influence across Global Product Solutions (GPS), sales, product, and marketing executives to align and deliver on a core strategy.
  • Develop deep understanding of retail customer needs and the competitive landscape to influence product strategy and GTM plans.
  • Translate product plans and strategy into a market-facing narrative.
  • Foster well-being across the organization in alignment with Google values.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in product management, marketing, management consulting, or project management in technology.
  • Experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience working with product management or engineering teams, executive leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience working in ad sales or business strategy.
  • Knowledge of the online advertising landscape.
  • Strong customer orientation with ability to uncover market needs/insights that translate into overarching strategies.
  • Excellent problem solving, communication, and relationship management skills within ambiguous and complex environments.
  • Strong track record of influencing both peers & leadership, and collaborating effectively across organizations.
