About the teamThe Content Apps team at VIZIO develops tools that empower internal customers and partners to manage, test, and monitor applications within the VIZIO ecosystem. The team emphasizes creating efficient, engaging solutions while fostering technical expertise. It operates in a collaborative, open environment supported by engineering and business teams. Joining as a Senior Software Engineer means contributing to next-generation TV app tools, driving innovation, and supporting continuous improvement through teamwork and technical excellence. What you’ll do:
Build services that are integration points for mission-critical third-party partners.
Design and implement containerized APIs deployed to the cloud.
Write efficient and reliable code across multiple languages (ex. Go, python, SQL, Terraform, etc.)
Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle including CI/CD and automated testing.
Assist in solution design, participate in design reviews, and ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
Monitor application performance, conduct maintenance, and support defect management and debugging.
Mentor peers, share knowledge, and promote engineering best practices for continuous improvement. What you’ll bring:
Bachelor's Degree (BA, BS, or MS in Computer Science) or equivalent experience, and 5 years of development experience.
Strong proficiency in a strongly-typed language and familiarity with javascript.
Experience in code reviews, debugging, and delivering maintainable, scalable, and secure software components to a major cloud provider (AWS,GCP, Azure).
Experience working with relational databases.
Experience with containers and infrastructure-as-code (IaC, Terraform).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation scripting.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team, welcoming ideas from partners, business stakeholders, and technical experts.

Denver, Colorado US-11581: The annual salary range for this position is $99,000.00 - $198,000.00
Seattle, Washington US-11573: The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00 - $216,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
