Job description
Do you want to shape how millions of builders find, buy, and deploy AI agents? Do you thrive in fast-moving spaces where product strategy is still being written? Do you want to own meaningful pieces of an end-to-end business that combines technical depth and direct impact on AWS's AI strategy? If yes, you may be a great fit for our team.
AWS Marketplace is building the future of software procurement and distribution. As AI agents become a core building block of modern applications, we are investing in the infrastructure, experiences, and integrations that make it easy for customers to discover, subscribe to, and deploy agents across their AWS environments. You will own product workstreams within this emerging space — from how agents are listed and represented, to how they integrate with runtime and orchestration services, to how customers evaluate and adopt them at scale.
Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will own the product strategy and roadmap for AI agent discovery, procurement, and deployment on AWS Marketplace — one of the fastest-growing and most strategically important areas for our business. You will define how customers find, evaluate, subscribe to, and deploy AI agents across their AWS environments, and you will shape how providers list, package, and monetize agent-based offerings at scale.
You will work backwards from customers to identify the highest-impact problems to solve, translate those into clear product requirements, and partner with engineering teams to deliver solutions end-to-end. You will dive deep into technical architecture, integration patterns, and APIs to make informed trade-offs, and you will use data to guide prioritization and measure success post-launch.
You will build alignment across a broad set of stakeholders — product, engineering, design, go-to-market, legal, and partner teams — and represent your workstreams in leadership reviews. You will influence upstream and downstream roadmaps where dependencies exist, and you will earn trust through clear written narratives, strong judgment, and consistent delivery. As the space evolves, you will anticipate what comes next and invest in capabilities that position AWS Marketplace for long-term leadership.
A day in the life
Your day might start with a design review where you work through technical trade-offs with engineering on how agents flow through our discovery and fulfillment systems. Mid-morning, you meet with a partner team to align on an integration that unblocks a new delivery option for customers. Over lunch, you review usage data from a recent launch and sketch out the next set of experiments. In the afternoon, you draft a narrative for an upcoming leadership review, then close the day with a customer conversation — hearing first-hand how a builder is deploying agents on AWS Marketplace.
