In your role as a NAND Product Engineer, you will help define Apple's mass storage solutions for our current line of world-class products as well as have direct technical impact on what our future product capabilities will be. This is an extraordinary opportunity to showcase your skills in flash memory process and in device, test, and system engineering. Communicate vendor/supplier NAND roadmap to internal technical and management teams
Drive vendor NAND die roadmap to meet Apple's requirements (quality, performance, reliability, schedule)
Drive NAND flash technology roadmap, and manage component vendors to meet spec and schedule requirements
Support internal engineering teams in failure analysis and defining corrective actions
Perform large volume data statistical analysis, identify anomalies, commonality studies
Present the risk assessment and status to cross functional teams and leaderships
B.S. degree
Expertise in NAND development, specifically with product engineering, design, and/or process integration aspects of the technology
Experience with NAND failure analysis, testing and/or debug efforts
MS or PhD in a technical subject area and 3+ years of relevant experience
Ability to do hands-on measurements of NAND array and connect single-cycle transistor properties, to full product operation
Experience across multiple-lithos spanning basic device definition through final qualification
Understanding of key NAND system specifications, with respect to embedded NAND and SSD solutions
Experience in competitor analysis of NAND die and solutions
Experience with NAND flash engineering, flash memory technology and processing
3-D NAND development experience
Organizational and problem-solving skills

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
