Job description
This role will develop and execute a strategic plan to scale Apple Business, Apple Maps partnerships, and Ads on Maps, with a focus on the SMB and Mid Market segments. You will communicate feedback internally on how external partners and business customers utilize and drive value through our product and features. You will use judgement and empathy to balance the needs of Maps consumer app users, business owners, and advertisers who use Apple Business brand features, and third party partners.
You’ll build and execute partnership strategies across both the Maps consumer experience and Apple Business facing product, with a focus on product adoption, deep utilization and go-to-market success. You should have hustle, take initiative on your own, and have finesse. This role will engage with CEOs and also junior business development leads — navigating how to effectively push our agenda forward.
Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new partnership and brand opportunities that align with business and product strategy, with a priority on business customer acquisition.
Manage and scale newly onboarded partners and brands, identifying opportunities to drive value and long term growth, with an emphasis on Ads on Maps opportunities.
Lead partner relationships and ensure strong operational and technical execution, as well as support partner marketing and product marketing work streams.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, business development, marketing, legal, policy and other necessary groups to integrate partner capabilities, remove friction, and unlock new business and product growth opportunities.
Track, analyze, and report on partnership and brand performance, providing data-driven insights and business reviews to senior leadership.
Gather partner and market feedback to inform Apple Business strategy and influence partner and product roadmaps.
7+ years of partnership and/or account management experience with demonstrated ability to execute partnerships end-to-end
Experience in go-to-market programming
Strong background in paid media landscape and organic brand experiences
Comfortable operating independently in fast-paced, high-growth environments while navigating ambiguous situations to arrive at high impact outcomes
Exceptional storytelling capabilities
Strong listening, social, oral/written communication and presentation skills; including the ability to successfully communicate to large audiences
Ability to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally with both internal and external stakeholders in a variety of functions
Technical product fluency—ability to advise partners on best practices for a technical integration with Apple
Experience in deal structuring and/or background in sales
Bachelor’s degree
Experience and familiarity in local visibility, product marketing and GTM programming a plus.
Understanding of and experience with product partnerships, partner enablement and product marketing
MBA degree
