Job description
With a rapidly expanding team & scope, we are looking for a Finance Manager who is a strategic thinker and creative problem solver to support this hyper-growth business as part of the WW Flex & DTO Finance team. This role partners with business leadership to provide strategic guidance and analytical decision making support for evaluating and prioritizing projects or initiatives. This role will work closely with cross-functional business leaders across the Last Mile organization and internal Amazon businesses allowing for future opportunities to expand scope. This role requires a self-starter with strong business modeling skills, a keen attention to detail and good track record of influencing business partners. This role has regular interaction with senior leadership and stakeholders across Amazon and requires strong verbal and written communication skills. The candidate will need to be capable of operating with a high degree of autonomy, and hence needs to demonstrate a high degree of comfort with ambiguity besides holding a high bar on professional integrity.
Key job responsibilities
- Use solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence leaders throughout Amazon. These decisions can have global impact.
- Educate business partners on financial and non-financial trade-offs and provides guidance and financial analysis for new projects and initiatives. You make thoughtful judgement calls in ambiguous environments where data may be scarce or difficult to procure.
- Identifies opportunities to resolve defects proactively. Improves, scales, or simplifies finance tools across teams and organizations.
A day in the life
A typical day in this role provides an opportunity to innovate by building creative, socially responsible last mile logistics solutions through large-scale data driven decision making. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following abilities: they influence business owners, support thoughtful decision-making, and adapt to a rapidly-evolving environment. They collaborate with senior leaders and various business units across Amazon. You bring excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience
- 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience
- 5+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience - MBA, or CPA
- Experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving
- Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
