The US base salary range for this full-time position is $262,000-$365,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Define the roadmap enabling Agentic Applications in Cloud. Be responsible for authoring concepts and partnering with Google leadership to deliver.
- Understand Data Models and develop an Intelligent Query layer on top of multiple data sets. Work across multiple disparate systems of Gemini Cloud Assist, App Platform, Design Agent, Observability and drive a common on-boarding journey across multiple teams.
- Own the overall design, architecture, and implementation strategies. Establish and maintain high technical standards, ensuring code quality, reliability, and performance.
- Drive cross-organizational collaboration across sites and external partners to build a durable Google Cloud native and third-party, Agent, and MCP ingestion and serving layer.
- Own Complex, Multi-Dimensional Roadmaps collaborating with Distinguished engineers and Google Fellows working on Exabyte scale Storage Solutions for Agentic Applications.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience programming in C++.
- 5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching software products.
- Experience with distributed computing, big data analytics, cloud computing, multi-tenant cloud, or AI.
Preferred qualifications:
- 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Experience in designing and building high-performance back-end systems.
- Understanding of distributed systems (networking, high queries per second serving stack) and developing at scale.
- Ability to motivate, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to team members with excellent problem-solving and technical decision-making skills.
- Proven track record of solving ambiguous problems that span across multiple components/domains.
