As Google expands its global infrastructure, we are searching for a motivated and detail-oriented Program Lead to join our Data Center Construction team.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $159,000-$231,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Manage multiple data center projects from inception to completion, overseeing all phases, including concept development, design, construction, and deployment.
- Gather and analyze internal requirements, translating them into effective solutions that meet the needs of our data center operations teams.
- Work effectively within an organization, collaborating with cross-functional partners, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
- Communicate project updates, risks, and opportunities to leadership and stakeholders.
- Analyze and evaluate complex construction challenges, developing creative solutions that minimize impact on project timelines and costs.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program or project management.
- 5 years of experience with technical teams responsible for project management, engineering, and construction of data centers or facilities.
- 5 years of experience with electrical, mechanical, controls, security monitoring, fire safety, networking/fiber, server equipment, systems, or infrastructure.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- 5 years of experience with equipment/environments.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and an understanding of standard practices in the design and construction industry, including knowledge of fast-track design-build processes.
- Knowledge of large-scale facility electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to gather requirements, organize resources, prioritize tasks, manage schedules, and achieve objectives within defined goals.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
