The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical roadmap for integrating, validating, and optimizing various third-party enterprise applications on Google Distributed Cloud.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, partner engineering teams, and external ISVs to understand customer requirements and deliver solutions.
- Drive the architectural design and implementation of platform features that enhance the security, reliability, performance, and manageability of ISV applications in distributed and potentially air-gapped environments.
- Communicate technical strategy and progress effectively to leadership and across organizational boundaries.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, proactively addressing challenges related to running applications across varied and secure distributed environments.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience with Cloud compute platforms like Kubernetes, Cloud Functions.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Experience building highly reliable, performant, distributed cloud databases.
