Your Team, Your Impact
As Director of Intelligent Management & Control Platforms, you will define and execute the long-term business and
product strategy for one of Marvell’s most strategically important infrastructure technologies.
You will shape how hyperscale AI and cloud platforms manage security, telemetry, lifecycle orchestration, resiliency, and out-of-band infrastructure intelligence across next-generation server, storage, and networking environments.
In this role, you will:
Define the Future of Platform Management
• Lead the
IMCP roadmap strategy spanning server management, BMC integration, platform telemetry, security,
lifecycle management, and connectivity capabilities

What You Can Expect
The candidate will lead a business team to define and execute the product and business strategy for Marvell’s Integrated Management Control Processor platform. This role is central to driving growth across hyperscale and cloud service providers as well as OEM server, storage, and networking customers who require robust, standards-compliant out-of-band management silicon. We are seeking a seasoned platform management expert who understands the full ecosystem – from IPMI and Redfish standards, telemetry and lifecycle management to platform firmware and security requirements – and can translate customer challenges into compelling, differentiated software and silicon solutions. The candidate will be responsible for developing the IMCP roadmap, winning new platform designs, and serving as the primary business owner for strategic accounts.
- Lead product business planning activities, including market and technology trend analysis, market sizing (TAM, SAM, SOM), key customer targeting, competitive benchmarking, revenue modeling, product positioning, and pricing strategy for the IMCP platform.
- Define and drive the Integrated Management Control Processor roadmap, incorporating customer requirements across server management, BMC, security (RoT, secure boot), and connectivity features, ensuring alignment with industry standards such as OBMF, IPMI, Redfish/Swordfish, MCTP, and PLDM.
- Develop deep customer intimacy with OEM server and storage manufacturers, hyperscale cloud operators, and ODM partners to understand their platform management architecture requirements and design cycles.
- Drive the opportunity funnel and design wins in collaboration with the sales team, exceeding annual and long-term revenue targets for the IMCP product line.
- Establish and maintain influential senior management relationships at key OEM, ODM, and cloud accounts, acting as the primary business point of contact for strategic platform management engagements.
- Lead cross-functional teams – spanning engineering, sales, marketing, and operations – to develop complex business and technical proposals and present to senior leadership internally and externally.
- Own development of comprehensive customer-facing materials including solution presentations, white papers, application notes, competitive positioning documents, and solutions briefs for the IMCP portfolio.
- Secure and grow IMCP design wins at strategic accounts with a focus on the highest-value, platform-level opportunities spanning current and next-generation server and infrastructure programs.
- Coordinate and contribute to PLM activities, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations at the strategic account level.
- Serve as the aggregation point for strategic account revenue forecast inputs to the Business Management team.
- Monitor competitive landscape and emerging standards (e.g., OCP, DMTF, CXL management extensions) to ensure Marvell’s IMCP roadmap remains ahead of market requirements.
- Contribute to assigned strategic account strategy across all relevant Marvell product touchpoints within MBG.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 10+ years of semiconductor, systems, or infrastructure platform experience
- Deep understanding of:
- BMC architectures
- Platform management ecosystems
- IPMI and Redfish
- Infrastructure telemetry
- RAS features
- Security subsystems and Root of Trust architectures
- Proven leadership experience driving complex cross-functional initiatives

- MSEE and/or MBA preferred

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)
187,520 - 280,900, $ per annum
The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
