Global Network Technologies (GNT) team develops the systems, technologies and tools to support Google's global network connecting our data centers and cloud regions to each other and to the users, as part of Google’s Global Infrastructure (GGI) organization.
WANForms team's charter within GNT is to act as a virtual vendor to the rest of GGI providing WAN building blocks with normalized read, write, and operate APIs that are abstracted across hardware and silicon from leading networking device vendors.

- Be the Subject Matter Expert on end to end solutions of Google services interacting with vendor features for Wide Area Network (WAN) Networking products.
- Lead the technical design and development of infrastructure for testing in virtual and physical environments that are scalable, reliable and maintainable.
- Drive the adoption of novel network applications that significantly optimize Google's network performance in line with organizational goals.
- Collaborate closely with senior leaders and cross-functional partners to gather requirements and deliver the solution with high software quality and architectural integrity.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
