As we are rapidly becoming the world's largest consumer of corporate services in many categories, the Global Corporate Procurement team is seeking a Program Manager to join our Responsible Sourcing team.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced program manager skilled in leading multiple environmental and social responsibility programs in a highly
cross-functional environment which includes procurement, internal customers, sustainability partners, and suppliers. You'll have high standards for yourself and everyone you work with, and you'll be constantly looking for ways to improve your programs' performance, quality, and impact. Using data and key metrics, you will drive and measure process improvements that enhance our responsible sourcing effectiveness.
You will work independently in a dynamic, challenging, and fast-changing organization. A successful candidate must have a passion for responsible sourcing, procurement, sustainability excellence, and program management and be able to drive efficiencies with those around them through effective lateral and upward management.
You will own carbon reduction initiatives, human rights programs, Environmental, Social, and Governance (
ESG) supplier risk assessments, sustainability reporting, cross-organization
stakeholder management, work with internal procurement operations teams on best practices, identify training gaps and opportunities for responsible sourcing, and manage upwards with senior leaders. You will have a strong background in procurement workflows, sustainability metrics, program management, analytical and process optimization skills. You will work across teams to streamline responsible sourcing mechanisms, build SOPs, partner with tech teams to improve
ESG monitoring tools and dashboards.

Key job responsibilities
- Drive initiatives for environmental and social responsibility programs to define
roadmap plans, develop and manage implementation activities for Global Corporate Procurement
- Develop documentation and communications for program/process rollout and ongoing support for carbon reduction, sustainability certification, and
ESG risk management
- Establish channels for continuous feedback and improvement across the organization
- Identifying and mitigating potential environmental and social responsibility risks and obstacles by collaborating closely with business partners, key stakeholders, and sourcing managers
- Design processes and procedures that scale with the business' growth in volume, complexity, and global geographic dispersion
- Utilizing data to identify trends, root causes of problems, and measure the impact of improvement initiatives
- Working with teams across different departments to identify and implement improvements, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
About the team
The
GCP Responsible Sourcing Team drives procurement to protect the environment, promote economic growth, safeguard human rights, and advance social equity while fostering community impact. By integrating Environment, Social Responsibility (SR), and Supplier Development and Impact (SDI) functions under a unified Responsible Sourcing umbrella, we drive efficiency and create measurable value that advances Amazon's climate commitments and
ESG goals while providing proactive risk management. Situated within Finance Operations, we use data-driven approaches to optimize effectiveness. We are looking for a strong leader who has a proven track record of program management in complex and growing sustainability and procurement environments.
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- 3+ years of program management, sourcing project management and supplier or customer relationship management experience
- Strong understanding of
ESG frameworks, sustainability certifications, and compliance requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, environmental, or equivalent, or 2+ years of senior management and leadership responsibilities experience
- Experience working with stakeholders in sustainability, finance or a related analytical field
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience with supplier engagement and supply chain sustainability programs
- Experience with
ESG risk assessment tools and sustainability reporting frameworks
- Knowledge of Scope 3 emissions management and supply chain decarbonization strategies
- Experience with human rights due diligence and social responsibility auditing
- Certified Professional in Supply Chain Management (CPSM)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
