We are seeking a Senior Data / Business Analyst to support analytics initiatives focused on diabetes care, with a strong emphasis on Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) programs and recurring patient resupply. This role partners cross-functionally with business, operations, product, payer, and technology teams to analyze patient journeys, resupply workflows, and program performance. The analyst will leverage SQL and Snowflake to deliver insights on adherence, utilization, eligibility, authorization, fulfillment, and revenue, while identifying trends, operational bottlenecks, and opportunities to improve patient retention, payer compliance, and overall business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop a deep understanding of diabetes and CGM business workflows, including patient onboarding, eligibility verification, prescription/documentation requirements, insurance authorization, shipment cadence, utilization, adherence, and recurring resupply.
Partner with stakeholders to define analytical requirements, clarify business questions, and translate operational needs into scalable data queries, dashboards, reporting, and insights.
Use advanced SQL and Snowflake to extract, analyze, validate, and interpret data from patient, provider, payer, order, fulfillment, claims, CRM, and operational systems.
Analyze CGM resupply performance across patient segments, device types, payer groups, provider channels, geographies, care teams, and operational workflows.
Identify trends and drivers related to CGM adherence, sensor utilization, reorder timing, shipment frequency, order conversion, documentation gaps, denial risk, and patient retention.
Build and maintain dashboards, KPI reporting, and recurring business reviews focused on diabetes and CGM program performance.
Conduct ad hoc analyses to support business decisions around CGM growth, resupply optimization, payer compliance, patient outreach, operational efficiency, and revenue capture.
Collaborate with data engineering, BI, product, operations, and finance teams to improve metric definitions, data quality, reporting logic, and analytical infrastructure.
Validate analytical outputs for accuracy, consistency, and business alignment, especially where patient, payer, provider, and order data intersect.
Communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, using data storytelling to influence operational, commercial, and product decisions.
Role Focus Areas
Eligibility, documentation, and authorization cycle times.
Sensor resupply timing and shipment adherence.
Patient retention, reactivation, and churn risk.
Payer-specific resupply requirements and denial trends.
Provider, payer, and channel performance.
Missed refill or delayed shipment opportunities.
Patient outreach effectiveness and contact strategy.
Revenue leakage, fulfillment delays, and operational bottlenecks.
Device-category performance across CGM brands or supply types.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a hands-on, business-oriented analyst with deep healthcare domain knowledge and strong technical expertise in SQL, Snowflake, and healthcare analytics. They have a strong understanding of how diabetes therapy, CGM devices, insurance requirements, documentation, fulfillment, and ongoing resupply needs intersect across the patient lifecycle.
This individual is comfortable working directly with complex healthcare and operational data, translating insights into practical recommendations that improve patient adherence, operational efficiency, business performance, and payer compliance.
Qualifications:
Experience
5+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, healthcare analytics, operations analytics, or a related analytical role.
Experience supporting healthcare programs related to diabetes, CGM, pharmacy, DME, chronic disease management, medical supplies, patient resupply, or recurring therapy management.
Strong understanding of patient resupply models, including eligibility, documentation, payer requirements, reorder cycles, shipment cadence, utilization, and retention.
Advanced SQL skills, including joins, CTEs, aggregations, window functions, data validation, cohort analysis, and performance-aware querying.
Experience working with Snowflake or a similar modern cloud data warehouse.
Ability to analyze large, complex datasets across patient, order, payer, provider, claims, fulfillment, and operational domains.
Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data findings to operational performance, patient experience, payer compliance, and revenue outcomes.
Experience gathering requirements from business stakeholders and converting them into analytical specifications, dashboards, and reporting outputs.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical findings and analytical tradeoffs to business audiences.
High attention to detail and commitment to data quality, especially in regulated healthcare environments.
Preferred Qualifications

Direct experience with Continuous Glucose Monitoring products, diabetes supply workflows, or DME/pharmacy distribution models.
Familiarity with CGM-related data elements such as sensor shipments, transmitter or receiver needs, refill timing, days’ supply, utilization patterns, prior authorization, documentation status, and payer-specific rules.
Experience with BI or visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Sigma, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of HIPAA, healthcare data privacy, and secure handling of patient information.
Experience analyzing claims, prescription, referral, authorization, denial, shipment, revenue cycle, or patient outreach data.
Experience supporting growth, retention, adherence, revenue optimization, operational productivity, or patient engagement initiatives.
Ability to document metric definitions, business logic, reporting requirements, and data lineage.
