Key job responsibilities
• Design, build, and ship high-quality mobile features for millions of customers worldwide
• Define and track key performance metrics, establish quality bars, and lead initiatives to raise the bar for app health
• Collaborate with 25+ teams across Mexico, India, and the United States to align on platform standards, resolve cross-team dependencies, and deliver cohesive mobile experiences at scale
• Lead
system design, architecture decisions, and operational root cause analysis for complex, multi-team mobile systems

iOS,
Android, and FireTablet platforms along with playback, downloads, metrics, auth, security, and more.
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns,
reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience leading engineering teams as a mentor or tech lead, or experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns,
reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Experience with
Android,
iOS or other mobile application development or testing

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
