Job Description
Position Summary
The Senior Specialist, Above Market Sustainment will play a critical role in supporting financial planning and analysis processes and related system operations across all divisions of the company, including Global Human Health, our Company's Manufacturing, Research, Animal Health, and Global Support Functions, as well as enterprise-wide activities supported through Corporate Financial Services.
This position is also part of a startup organization focused on building and sustaining finance analytics capabilities for the Controller’s organization. In this role, the incumbent will help establish foundational processes, strengthen reporting and analytical support, and partner closely with the Finance Digital Office to enable scalable, high-quality analytics solutions.
The successful candidate will contribute to both the operational support of planning systems and the development of a new analytics capability designed to support financial decision-making across the Controller’s organization.
A strong Finance and Accounting foundation is essential. This role offers significant exposure to enterprise financial planning, reporting, and close processes, and provides a unique opportunity to learn how global finance operations function across a complex, multi-division organization. Building a deep understanding of the overall process flow and the tools that support it will position the incumbent for future success in divisional financial planning and reporting roles.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Analysis Process and System Support
Support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities across all company divisions, including Global Human Health, our Company's Manufacturing, Research, Animal Health, and Global Support Functions.
Provide process and system support for enterprise-wide financial planning activities enabled through Corporate Financial Services.
Contribute to the execution of actuals close, consolidation, forecasting, and planning cycles, including opening, closing, and rolling forecast periods.
Support the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial planning inputs and outputs to enable reliable results and forecasts.
Partner with Finance, Accounting, IT, and Master Data teams to ensure planning and reporting solutions continue to meet business, accounting, and control requirements.
Analytics Support for the Controller’s Organization
Support the development of a new analytics capability within the Controller’s organization.
Partner with the Finance Digital Office to help shape, build, and operationalize scalable analytics solutions.
Assist in delivering financial analytics and reporting that support controller review, management decision-making, and business insights.
Help establish standard processes, reporting structures, and support models in a startup environment.
Contribute to the design and execution of analytics capabilities that improve visibility, consistency, and decision support.
Finance Systems and Process Sustainment
Administer and support the SAP BPC BRIDGES application, along with related planning and reporting tools.
Gain exposure to and work directly with tools such as PLANIT, LPT, SAC-P, FCCS, FDM, FTK, and FSA.
Support production activities, system enhancements, upgrades, and issue resolution.
Manage user security and work with the Master Data Management team to maintain financial hierarchies and structures.
Monitor and respond to support requests through the BPC Technical Support mailbox and related channels.
Learning, Collaboration, and Capability Building
Build strong working relationships across Finance, Accounting, Corporate Financial Services, the Controller’s organization, IT, and the Finance Digital Office.
Contribute to process improvement and capability-building efforts in a startup environment where roles, processes, and standards are still being established.
Provide user support, guidance, and training to help improve understanding of Above Market processes and finance systems.
Take advantage of broad exposure to finance operations, analytics, systems, and master data governance to develop deep enterprise finance expertise.
Develop a strong understanding of the end-to-end planning and reporting process and the tools that enable it, creating a foundation for future success in divisional financial planning and reporting roles.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
Experience
3 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, FP&A, financial reporting, financial systems, or finance operations support.
Exposure to financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, actuals close, consolidation, reporting, or analytics preferred.
Experience supporting process or systems implementation, or working in a finance technology environment, strongly preferred.
Required Skills and Competencies
Strong Finance and Accounting knowledge with an understanding of enterprise planning, reporting, and close processes.
Interest in and aptitude for supporting finance systems, analytics, and process enablement.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple business units and functional partners.
Comfort working in a startup organization where capability is being built and roles may evolve.
Strong customer service orientation and willingness to learn.
Preferred Experience
Exposure to SAP BPC, BRIDGES, FCCS, FDM, FTK, FSA, SAC-P, PLANIT, LPT, or similar financial planning and reporting tools.
Experience supporting financial analytics, reporting processes, or controller-facing deliverables.
Familiarity with master data governance, hierarchy maintenance, or finance data structures.

The salary range for this role is
$87,300.00 - $137,400.00This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
