Job description
This role will be critical in driving efficiency, scalability, and innovation across our Collections, Credit, Cash Applications, Invoicing Compliance and Revenue Operations functions. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of O2C business processes, enterprise-level technology platforms, and have a proven track record of delivering complex technology projects with an emphasis on Process Innovation & Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. You will create an environment where the right technology-whether data pipelines, AI-powered automation, or custom tooling-is applied to the right problem to drive scalable, well-architected outcomes.
The Order to Cash Technology Manager will be accountable for the professional and technical development of their team, thoughtful resource allocation across a high-demand portfolio, and end-to-end delivery of O2C technology solutions. You'll work closely with the O2C Global Process Owner, O2C Global Operation Leaders, and technology partners including the Finance Transformation Office, FDT, and IS&T.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of dedicated O2C Technology Champions, investing in their professional and personal growth while setting clear expectations for technical quality and solution design
Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and maintain the technology roadmap for the Global Order to Cash function aligning with overall O2C processes, business strategy and IT architecture, with a focus on integrating AI/ML capabilities
Drive quarterly O2C Technology Steering Committee to prioritize large projects and resource allocation across GOs and GPO Leadership
Partner with Finance Transformation Office, FDT, IS&T, and other technology business partners to deliver globally scalable solutions
Oversee delivery and maintenance of complex, cross-functional technology solutions, including the design and implementation of solutions that support key internal business partners (e.g. Sales Finance)
Establish and manage a structured development lifecycle (including version control and release management) to ensure a disciplined path from development to production
Establish and uphold consistent standards for quality, solution architecture, and technical documentation, ensuring the trams builds on shared, scalable foundations
Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the O2C cycle, leveraging technology, including advanced AI/ML techniques, to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the customer experience
Own resource planning and allocation, balancing strategic project delivery with operational support for each Global Operations Leader
Promote AI/ML adoption and position the team as the senior technical authority and innovation engine for O2C
Foster an innovation culture where Tech Champions mentor embedded Tech Wizards on latest technologies, technical skills, product review processes, and governance best practices
Ensure O2C technology solution governance standards comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, internal controls, data security standards, and responsible AI deployment
5+ years in Order to Cash, Finance Operations, Finance Projects, or a related technical or analytical function
2+ years leadership experience managing a high performing team
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, including Agile delivery methodologies, version control (e.g. Git/GitHub), and release management
Familiarity with foundational data and development technologies (such as Python, SQL, or enterprise data pipelines) sufficient to guide technical teams, diagnose issues, and evaluate solution designs
Proven experience managing and delivering large-scale technology projects, preferably within an O2C or Finance domain
Experience leading a centralized technology function or Center of Excellence
Strong understanding of end-to-end Order to Cash processes, including Collections, Credit, Cash Applications, Invoicing Compliance and Revenue Operations an advantage
Demonstrated proficiency and practical experience with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) in a finance or operations context, particularly in areas like predictive analytics, intelligent automation, or anomaly detection within a Finance context.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Dataiku, Tableau, or equivalent data and analytics platforms an advantage
Familiarity with RPA platforms and intelligent process automation
Experience partnering with IS&T, FDT, or equivalent enterprise technology teams
Track record managing competing priorities through structured intake and governance processes
Experience leading teams through significant change management and transformation environments
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels - equally at home in an executive briefing and a technical design session
