Proficient in Objective-C, C, or C++
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in concurrency, real-time systems, memory- and performance-sensitive systems a plus.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and communicate clearly while working on multiple projects.
Passionate and inquisitive, and seek to solve everyday problems in innovative ways.

The seamless integration of software and hardware has led to features like Night Mode, Live Photos, Apple ProRAW, SmartHDR, Portrait Mode, and many others, which deliver magical experiences that surprise and delight our customers! The Camera Framework Tooling team in Camera & Photos provides software tools to enable photo/video data collection, image quality assessment and tuning, imaging algorithm development etc. We also work closely with the Camera Framework team. The Camera Framework team is at the heart of the camera capture stack, and provides the camera foundation APIs and underlying real-time multithreaded media pipeline powering clients like iOS’s built-in Camera application, thousands of third-party applications, and even AR-based experiences. As an engineer working on the Camera Framework tooling team, you'll be developing Camera Software tools based on the Camera Capture API. You will also be working side-by-side with the world-class engineers that built iPhone’s camera to what it is today, and build new great camera capabilities spanning the universe of Apple devices. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
