What you will do:
The best employee experiences don’t happen by accident — they’re shaped in part by communication that helps people understand where the company is headed, what matters most, and the role they play in moving it forward. As our Communications Specialist at Stryker, you’ll help bring that experience to life for more than 50,000 employees worldwide. You will primarily focus on supporting enterprise employee communications. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about creating and implementing communications that strengthen understanding, inspire employees, and drive deeper engagement across the organization. In this role, you will combine strategic thinking and collaboration with strong writing and editing skills, while effectively managing employee communications platforms.
Translate complex business updates into clear, compelling employee-facing stories — researching, writing and editing content aligned to the global editorial strategy.
Build strong partnerships across functions, regions and commercial divisions to uncover story ideas that advance global editorial narrative.
Advise stakeholders on the best channel, timing and audience strategy to maximize relevance, clarity and engagement while ensuring alignment to enterprise standards and avoiding unnecessary volume or duplication.
Monitor performance analytics and turn insights into actionable recommendations that improve employee understanding, engagement and action.
Publish, update and manage content across global internal channels (e.g., intranet, newsletters, email, digital displays) to keep employees informed and connected.
Support change and priority initiatives by sequencing communications thoughtfully to minimize fatigue and maximize clarity for employees.
Champion the Stryker brand by thoughtfully applying brand standards, voice and principles consistently in day-to-day work.
Stay ahead of emerging trends and communication technologies; pilot and recommend new approaches that improve reach and effectiveness.
Contribute to strategic communications planning in partnership with the broader team.
Execute against defined enterprise editorial priorities and content plans, supporting broader communications strategies.
Maintain and curate company-level information and materials to ensure content is accurate, current and easy to find.
Reinforce enterprise communication standards, helping ensure consistent messaging, tone and channel use across functions and regions.
Support priority enterprise initiatives and time-sensitive communications, including rapid-turn needs aligned to business priorities.
