Do you love books and authors? Do you like challenging the status-quo and are looking to lead transformative initiatives that make a tangible impact on authors, publishers, and readers? Are you a customer-obsessed marketing professional with a passion for solving problems and driving an innovative and fast-growing business?
Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) has revolutionized reading and the way authors of any level can engage the millions of readers that shop on Amazon. To further our goal of having "every book, ever written, in any language, available in 60 seconds or less," we're seeking a Product Marketing Manager to lead author adoption efforts for key author-facing launches. This role will own the adoption
segment of our
Go-to-Market strategies, be accountable for adoption metrics and the full conversion funnel, design and run experiments, and build scalable processes that drive authors from awareness to active use. These efforts will support author success and increase selection for readers.
The successful candidate will combine product marketing expertise with a data-driven approach to understand the author response to new tools, and will translate those insights into targeted strategies that deliver results. This role will operate at the intersection of product, marketing, and
customer success, working with a range of launch partners to influence roadmaps, execute campaigns, remove barriers to adoption, and measure and report on KPIs. Flexibility and the ability to prioritize in a changing business environment will be key to success. Our team culture is goal-oriented, collaborative, and driven to achieve results. We seek an individual who is motivated by a fast-paced and highly entrepreneurial environment.
