As an engineering leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Sports, Media analytics strategy and empowering a group of highly skilled engineers to innovate in this space. You will work closely with peer engineering teams, data scientists, and stakeholders to deeply understand their data needs and deliver innovative, high-impact solutions.
Define and drive technical strategy and roadmap for Live Sports and Media analytics
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements
Architect and deliver highly scalable near real-time analytics systems
Partner with peers, quality engineering, SRE to deliver and operate high quality data solutions
Constantly measure and improve data quality, system reliability, performance and efficiency
Mentoring and developing engineering talent and their growth
Represent team vision and roadmap to senior leadership and lead through ambiguity
Foster innovation first inclusive engineering culture with strong accountability
BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years of leading engineering teams
Strong understanding of data engineering principles and best practices
Hands-on experience in architecting and delivering large-scale data engineering applications
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, especially in cross-functional settings
Passion for mentoring and developing engineering talent
Experience in leading teams through large, open-ended projects with ambiguous requirements
Experience in delivering AIML and GenAI engineering projects at scale
Experience in building scalable stream analytics systems with one or more of Flink, Spark, Kafka, Iceberg, StarRocks
Experience in computer vision, video and audio stream processing with Open CV, VLM, Object Detection and Speech to Text
