Position: Regional Environmental Manager - AMZ22922.3
Location: Boston, MA
Multiple Positions Available:
• Ensure environmental strategy and operational tactics are executed by providing technical support for existing operations and future expansion across the country.
• Partner with the Amazon BU operations leadership teams to execute company environmental procedures and ensure compliance with all applicable specific Federal, State and Local
regulations.
• Utilize risk assessments and compliance evaluations, to lead continuous improvement initiatives to minimize environmental aspects and impacts and communicate and implement best
practices.
• Manage and execute multi-site responsibilities to comply with air emissions, storm-water, waste, wastewater and other environmental related laws, regulations and permits, which
includes required Federal, State and local reporting such as USEPA,
EPCRA/
SARA, Form
R, and Tier II, state mandated permit reporting, and other required reporting as needed.
• Develop and maintain relationships with business partners to support their success in environmental compliance, performance and sustainability initiatives.
• Drive an environmentally responsible culture within the organization.
• Manage and execute business conformance with Amazon Environmental policies through effective execution of Amazon Operational Environmental Procedures.
• Develop relevant environmental procedures as dictated by business and regulatory needs.
• Provide strategic environmental support and regulatory review for future business growth and expansion.
• Partner with operations, special projects and support teams in supporting the change management process.
• Facilitate root cause analyses for all environmental incidents and recommend appropriate corrective actions for network implementation.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits as necessary.
• Measure and analyze sites performance against requirements and policies.
(40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $119600 - $161700)

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, or other STEM discipline. Experience must include:
• 4 Years of experience with
EPCRA/
SARA, Form
R and Tier II reporting.
• 4 years of experience with Hazardous Waste Management with specific focus on compliance with and implementation of Resource conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA).
• 4 years of experience with the Clean Air Act (CAA) identifying and characterizing various air emission sources, including stationary and mobile sources, and their potential to emit
regulated pollutants.
• 4 years of experience with Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans, technical engineering principles, and environmental risk management strategies related to oil
storage and potential spill scenarios.
• 4 years of experience in implementing effective stormwater pollution prevention plans SWPPP, knowledge of Best Management Practices (BMPs), and the ability to review analytical
stormwater monitoring reports and understand Clean Water Act (CWA).
• 3 years of professional experience in conducting environmental management system (EMS) audits or implementing ISO 14001 standard compliance programs.
The pay range for this position in Boston, MA is $119600 - $161700 (yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
