As a key partner in our Global Advertising Sales organization, you'll be the analytical powerhouse who transforms raw data into compelling narratives that drive our advertising ecosystem forward.
Key job responsibilities
Build comprehensive business intelligence solutions, including data sets, queries, reports, and interactive dashboards
Develop robust data structures using advanced schema definition languages
Create secure, maintainable code that automates complex analytical processes
Utilize advanced visualization tools to translate complex data into actionable insights
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related challenges with innovative solutions

Your day will be a dynamic blend of data exploration, collaborative problem-solving, and innovative thinking. You'll dive deep into datasets, craft visualization tools, and work closely with business stakeholders to uncover meaningful insights that shape our advertising strategies.
About the team
We're a collaborative group of data enthusiasts passionate about leveraging analytics to drive advertising excellence. Our team is at the forefront of transforming how Amazon approaches advertising insights, creating tools that empower decision-makers across the organization.
- 2+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with
Redshift,
Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with relational and
star schema data modeling concepts
- Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel,
Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g. t-test, Chi-squared)
- Experience with scripting language (e.g.,
Python,
Java, or R)
- Experience gathering business requirements, using industry standard business intelligence tool(s) to extract data, formulate metrics and build reports
- Master's degree, or Advanced technical degree
- Knowledge of
data modeling and data pipeline design
- Experience with statistical analysis, co-relation analysis

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
