Assist with system prototype development and build, as well as provide feedback to other teams in a timely manner, and effectively communicate solutions to relevant engineers
Design and perform iterative testing in a systematic manner to ensure systems meet specifications
Develop workflows for system calibration and data acquisition
Look for ways to improve system commissioning process for consistency and scalability
Be able to adapt and provide feedback quickly to changes in a prototype system with demanding deadlines
Be detail-oriented and diligent in documenting changes and notes as the product is developed.
Install finished product at customer sites and conduct site acceptance testing with customers present
Assist with customer demos and applications
Skills
Able to work independently to formulate and test hypotheses
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a team environment
Excellent data analysis skills: ability analyze and manipulate large datasets quickly
Ability to multitask and set priorities according to current demands
Ability to deliver solutions under tight deadlines
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science or Engineering required (Mechanical, Electrical, Physics, or Materials Science)
Work experience/Master’s/Ph.D. is a plus
Be able to travel domestically and internationally to assist with in-field installations (max expected percentage travel is 10%, but subject to change)
Additional Skills of Interest
Familiarity or experience with X-ray systems, specifically XRF is a strong plus
Experience in Python scripting is a strong plus
Experience with hardware control (motion control systems and automation/robotics) is a plus
Familiarity or experience with optics and microscopes is a plus
Understanding of semiconductor industry trends is a plus

YesThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
