Senior Business Systems Analyst, Quote to Report

The team identifies time-consuming internal processes and then builds solutions that are reliable and scalable enough to work within the size and scope of the company. You listen to and translate Googler needs into high-level technical specifications, design and develop recommended systems and consult with Google executives to ensure smooth implementation. Whether battling large system processes or leveraging our homegrown suite of Google products for Googlers themselves, you help Googlers work faster and more efficiently.

With your technical expertise, you build business applications and influence the design of features that improve the reliability of our applications and systems. You also define the scope of technical projects and oversee execution.

Corporate Engineering is the team that builds and maintains the enterprise infrastructure that powers Google. We are responsible for designing, building, securing, and operating the systems and tools that keep Google running smoothly. The Quote-to-Report team in the Finance Compliance and Goverance (FCG) team is responsible for transforming the technology landscape to enable the product area growth by ensuring accurate business and accounts receivable.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership over projects, continue to track and maintain progress, mitigate risks, manage unpredictability, keep teams and clients updated, and manage stakeholders and escalations, coordinate testing, and work with engineering teams to deploy applications all the way to launch.
• Work with stakeholders and users to gain insights into business problems, processes, and applications to provide sustainable solutions with strategic impact through building business applications, delivering systems enhancements, and designing solutions to automate and scale business operations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define, design, build, deploy, and support various solutions to systems, software products, and internal transformative programs and processes.
• Drive improvement to the discipline of business analysis and team execution across project work and ongoing support responsibilities.
• Define best practices and principles for solution design, systems configuration, test documentation and execution, issue identification and resolution.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 12 years of experience building integrated systems throughout the entire life-cycle (e.g., analyze, design, build, test, implement, and support).
• 12 years of experience designing and implementing finance systems.

Preferred qualifications:

• 10 years of experience in large-scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) SAP systems deployment with an understanding of SAP Financial processes.
• Experience creating and scaling new opportunities to improve domain critical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Experience working with and influencing cross-functional leaders to define requirements and manage technical portfolios.
• Excellent analysis skills to translate business requirements into comprehensive solution architecture.
