Position Summary
We are seeking a leader in project management, strategic planning and operational excellence to partner with cross functional disease area leadership and stakeholders driving the execution of the integrated Global Medical Plan for Solid Tumor/Thoracic teams across all key assets within the portfolio. The role also acts as the Project management leader for key Medical Affairs Alliance activities with key external partners facilitating governance and decision making and driving an integrated plan across the 2 organizations.
The role reports to the Senior Director, Strategy and Operations, Solid Tumors and will be a key leader in the overall S&O organization. He/she will facilitate the AIMS (Asset/Indication Medical Strategy team) and ensure alignment with matrix stakeholders in Medical, Commercial, R&D and Global markets. The PM leader will bring a good balance of strategic and operational skill sets translating portfolio strategy into actionable plans, timelines and deliverables. The individual will have oversight and accountability on all budget activities and will partner with the disease area leadership for prioritization and tradeoffs across their assigned portfolio. The role will also advise the Head of Strat and Ops for integrated planning and tradeoffs across the Onc/Hem portfolio. The individual will be expected to lead end-to-end execution of complex, multi-indication initiatives, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and aligned to objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with Medical Product Lead (MPL) and Disease Area teams to translate AIMS strategy into integrated portfolio plans, including milestones, deliverables, and dependencies and ensure aligned portfolio execution
Lead AIMS operational planning and execution for the assigned therapeutic area, including meeting management, project tracking, and coordination of deliverables
Oversee development of detailed project plans and timelines, ensuring cross-functional and external inputs are integrated, ensuring accountability and delivery of key milestones
Act as a central connector across Medical, Clinical Development, HEOR, Commercial, and external partners
Drive prioritization across assets and indications, balancing competing timelines, resources, and business needs
Drive consistency in ways of working across disease teams and projects; provide ongoing visibility into portfolio progress, risks, and resource considerations
Lead project management for alliance and joint medical teams, ensuring alignment on shared priorities, integrated plans, and coordinated execution across partner organizations
Drive preparation, coordination, and follow-up for joint governance forums (e.g., JSCs, alliance operating reviews), including development of decision-ready materials, tracking of actions, and ensuring alignment on key outcomes and next steps
Support strategic planning activities, including scenario planning and prioritization exercises
Provide project leadership and coordination across key Medical activities, including:
Congress planning and tracking (in partnership with Congress Management and EMCoE)
Integrated Communication Planning (ICP/CIP) in alignment with Medical Communications
Symposia and sponsorship activities, including tracking and coordination
Vendor management, including onboarding, project scoping, and external engagement oversight
Partner with Finance to support budget planning, forecasting, and performance tracking, including facilitating key discussions with MPL
Ensure alignment and coordination across internal systems and platforms (e.g., engagement tools, tracking systems); Maintain accurate and accessible project documentation, records, and collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams)
Help elevate project management capabilities and best practices across the organization

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Physical sciences or relevant discipline, advanced degrees preferred (MSc, PharmD, MBA)
Experience Requirements: 10+years of experience in pharmaceutical research, development, medical affairs or commercialization with a focus on cross functional project management and/or strategy/operations
Oncology/Hematology experience strongly preferred, a solid understanding of drug development and Medical Affairs organization
Experience in project/program management of complex projects involving cross-functional, multi-site, international teams.
Highly organized and motivated individual with the ability to work independently/effectively with cross functional teams.
Strong written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to interact directly and productively with team members and management, manage and prioritize multiple competing priorities is also required.
Model strong leadership behaviors, including structured thinking, proactive problem-solving, and clear communication
Ability to engage in complex scientific discussions to develop /summarize clear follow-up/action plans and execute.
Strong experience with building relationships, leading strategic initiatives and programs, and collaborating across divisions with people of diverse business backgrounds and cultures.

Comfort with ambiguity, driving change and innovation across the team.

Compensation Overview:
The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
