CoreOS Engineering Program Manager - Software Developer Productivity, Dev Experience & Operations

At least 5 years of experience in program or project management in software development
Knowledge of software engineering standard methodologies and related dependencies
Familiar with components of Computer Architecture and Operating Systems
Excellent spoken and written communication with the ability to tailor communication style to multiple audiences
Organization and multi-tasking skills with great attention to detail

Strong leadership skills including ability to build trusting relationships and influence others
Build and Release Engineering / Release Management
Project Management experience in software development life cycle
Understanding software build pipelines, merging, test systems and methods, and the delivery of codeContinuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
DevOps Lifecycle Improvement Initiatives
Developer Productivity
Analytics (splunk/Tableau preferred)
Knowledge of operating system internals architecture skills and experience:

The Software Developer Productivity team is looking for an experienced program manager to join the Core OS Platform Services and Operations EPM team. This is an opportunity to drive key software initiatives as a partner specifically with the Operations and Workflow Engineering groups within the Platform Services organization. We are looking for an experienced Software Engineering Program Manager to lead highly cross-functional technology efforts designing, building, optimizing, and shipping software in all phases of development from pre-silicon simulation, to sample bring-up, to already-shipping systems.

This role requires an energetic and motivated individual with strong communication, organization, and technical skills who works well in a fast-paced dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and also have a desire to learn, develop, and build on technical expertise during product development.
