AWS.

Oracle is optimized for total cost of ownership, and helps enterprise engineering teams focus on innovation by eliminating time-consuming database administration tasks such as provisioning for
high availability, monitoring, software patching, backups, scaling, and disaster recovery.
Oracle AI Database@
AWS enables customers to migrate their on-premises Exadata infrastructure to
AWS, run
Oracle Exadata infrastructure and
Oracle Autonomous Database
Serverless inside
AWS data centers, establish
low-latency connectivity from applications running on
AWS, and integrate with
AWS services such as Amazon CloudWatch for monitoring and
AWS Key Management Service for database encryption.

AWS, you will
- Define and drive the technical roadmap, working backwards from customer problems to develop innovations that make
AWS the leading cloud service to run
Oracle database workloads
- Own operational health and metrics — availability, security, durability, reliability, and latency, establishing mechanisms for continuous improvement.
- Build partnerships with engineering teams across
AWS and
Oracle, own technical decisions that balance innovation with reliability and operational efficiency.
- Champion AI-first development practices,, build and mentor multiple high-performing engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning, customer obsession, and operational excellence.
- Recruit and develop top talent, creating clear growth paths and coaching engineering managers and engineers across multiple levels.
- 10+ years of engineering experience
- 5+ years of engineering team management experience
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an
Agile environment
- Experience in building scalable systems based on web services
- Experience establishing metrics for measurement of engineering and operational excellence
- Experience building and/or operating large scale business-critical database applications

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
