This role connects strategy to execution. You will identify the health, wellbeing, and fitness opportunities with the greatest potential for customer impact, shape first-party experiences, and help teams move from exploratory ideas to validated product direction. You will bring strong product judgment to emerging technologies and new interaction modalities, including spatial computing, sensor-driven experiences, personalization, and multimodal interfaces, staying close to prototypes, user insights, and technical constraints so that direction becomes experiences that can be designed, built, tested, and delivered.
You are a systems thinker, clear communicator, and cross-functional leader who operates effectively through ambiguity in a highly collaborative and ownership-oriented manner. You can synthesize complex information, identify the decision that needs to be made, and bring teams together around a clear path forward. If you are curious, energized by ambiguity, and motivated by the opportunity to help millions of people live healthier, more active lives through thoughtfully designed products, we would love to hear from you.
* Define first-party health, wellbeing, and fitness experiences for vision products, from early opportunity framing through concept, validation, and delivery
* Translate customer needs, behavioral insights, market and technology trends, and Apple product strategy into clear, prioritized product direction
* Partner with Product Design, clinical, research, hardware, software, and engineering teams to shape concepts and feature priorities, evaluate feasibility, and align on what should be built
* Lead early-stage exploration, including ideation, prototyping, validation planning, and synthesis of learnings into actionable recommendations
* Develop product narratives, opportunity briefs, and strategic frameworks, and define success criteria spanning customer value, behavioral impact, product quality, and technical feasibility
* Facilitate strategic discussions and lead executive reviews, distilling complex product, technical, clinical, and customer information into clear recommendations and decision points
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners across health, fitness, design, research, and product development
* 8+ years of experience in product strategy, product management, product design, or a related product leadership role
* Experience defining, developing, or validating consumer health, wellbeing, fitness, or behavior-change products
* Demonstrated ability to move from ambiguous, early-stage opportunity spaces to clear product direction and cross-functional execution
* Strong product judgment, balancing customer value, technical feasibility, design quality, and long-term product strategy
* Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills, with experience leading through influence in complex, cross-functional environments
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* Experience with spatial computing, wearables, AR/VR, or emerging hardware platforms
* Experience building or shaping first-party consumer product experiences
* Experience developing and validating digital health or fitness products alongside clinical, hardware, software, design, and research counterparts
* Familiarity with sensor-driven experiences, personalization, multimodal interfaces, or adaptive product experiences
* Advanced degree in product design, human-computer interaction, behavioral science, health sciences, engineering, or a related field
Apple's Vision Products Group is looking for a strategic product design leader to help define the future of health, wellbeing, and fitness experiences across vision products. You will translate ambiguous opportunities at the intersection of spatial computing, wearables, consumer health, and human behavior into clear first-party product direction by identifying high-impact opportunities, shaping early concepts, defining what should be built, and helping cross-functional teams bring those experiences to life.
The ideal candidate is a product leader who thinks deeply and works concretely, turning complexity into direction. They have helped build consumer health, wellbeing, or fitness products, and they know how to balance customer impact, behavioral insight, technical feasibility, and design quality. They are equally comfortable framing a new opportunity, working through tradeoffs with design and engineering, synthesizing user and market signals, and leading executive conversations that drive clarity and alignment.
