Our Product Management team plays a crucial role in providing thousands of developers and content partners with the tools and features they need to sign contracts, provide tax and banking information, manage rights, configuring features, utilizing offers and bundles, accessing reports and invoices, reconciling payments and more.
As a Senior Leader of Product Management for Pricing Systems, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and driving the engineering for pricing functions that include digital agreements, banking setup, tax forms, as well as partner payment features that includes reporting, foreign exchange and payments.
This is a hands-on position where you will be involved with scheduling and roadmap planning, requirements analysis, functional and technical design discussions, testing, proof-of-concept, working with partners, and more. This role requires working closely, with global and cross-functional teams including Engineering, QA, IS&T, Digital Supply Chain, Business, Marketing, Other Product Teams, Program, Legal and Finance. Be a leader in a group of strong individual product managers and ensure detailed high-quality work in designing and translating business goals into technical specification requirements used during design, development, and quality assurance. This includes driving technical enhancements, roadmap definition, project prioritization, and new request assessments. Work closely with engineering and program managers to develop and launch features on time and at scale. Since you will be responsible for the programs success and each project within, you are comfortable working in the details and developing expertise in the space, clearly articulating the strategy, requirements, and rationale in leadership and cross-functional reviews.
Product Strategy & Platform Leadership -
Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for critical areas of the platform
Influence multiple product teams regardless of reporting structure
Partner with Engineering to shape platform evolution and modernization
Anticipate evolving business models, regional legislation, and partner needs
Evaluate and prioritize strategic initiatives, partner requests, regulatory commitments, acquiring leadership support thru strong product strategy and investment recommendations
Technical Product Leadership -
Design scalable rights, pricing, digital agreements, and partner onboarding capabilities
Deliver intuitive self-service experiences that scale to thousands of partners
Translate complex business, legal, and operational requirements
Partner closely with engineering, QA, information systems and others to drive architecture, APIs, workflow automation, testing, and quality
Develop deep expertise
People Management & Delivery Excellence -
Mentor and lead high-performing Product Managers
Establish a high bar for product quality and innovation
Create space for product work and utilize debate to drive sound judgments
Drive predictable execution of high-impact platform changes building trusted partnerships with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Measure effectiveness of capabilities, speed of delivery, performance and more
AI Product Leadership -
Utilize AI to automate workflows and improve decision-making
Deliver AI-powered capabilities to our partners
Apply AI to strengthen compliance, and increase the accuracy of partner tools
Establish governance for AI-enabled capabilities, ensuring transparency, privacy, responsible AI practices, and appropriate human oversight
Partner with Engineering on the roadmap and scalable use of AI
Regulatory & Compliance Leadership -
Lead product strategy to address global regulatory challenges
Partner with Legal, Compliance, Finance, Privacy, Security, Tax and Audit teams to translate evolving regulations into scalable platform capabilities and
Prioritize compliance investments
Drive engineering solutions that satisfy regulatory requirements while maintaining intuitive experiences for partners and business objectives
Manage regulatory risk thru innovative solutions
10+ years of proven experience in product management, consulting, design or engineering
7+ years of recent people management or leadership experience
Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools and assistants to accelerate development, improve decision-making, and enhance the quality and productivity
Outstanding communication skills: Can convey sophisticated ideas concisely and effectively, adapt to different audiences, and influence outcomes. Experience writing detailed, technical specs a plus
Self-motivated and proactive: Willing to dive into details and gain a thorough understanding of Apple’s systems, processes, and critical initiatives in order to build the best experiences for customers and partners, including developers
Strong analytical abilities, including experience working with data structures
Consistent track record of working collaboratively with engineering, QA, design, business, finance and legal teams
BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or related field and/or MBA with relevant engineering/quantitative background
Experience as an app developer or roles working with developers
