The Geo team also enables developers to use the power of Google Maps platforms to enhance their apps and websites. As they plot a course for the future of mapping, they are solving complex computer science problems, designing beautiful and intuitive product experiences, and improving our understanding of the real world.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $147000 - $211000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- 2 years of experience with iOS application development.
- Experience in C++, Java, or Objective C.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience designing intuitive, flexible, and APIs for multiple clients.
- Experience with technical concepts in the mobile ecosystem (e.g., JNI, lifecycle management, and layout design).
- Ability to understand developer needs when designing internal APIs, as well as user needs when working with Product on new Maps features.
