As a Senior Art Director you'll work under the guidance of creative leads, and in collaboration with other creative and technical disciplines to create considered and elegant design systems scaling from iOS to Web. You’ll brainstorm, coordinate, and collaborate with a project team to explore concepts and iterate on design solutions. This hands-on design role requires creativity, systematic design, great organizational skills and strategic thinking to navigate ambiguous scenarios and complex stakeholder relationships. You will follow the work from concept through production and delivery ensuring it adheres to Apple’s standard of quality.
Design and scale systems across Apple’s marketing platform, Web & iOS
Present work to senior creative staff and stakeholders.
Collaborate across teams to deliver performant, on-time, and magical experiences.
Prepare and deliver comprehensive, pixel-perfect files to production partners.
10+ years of industry experience in product design, design systems, UI design for Web and/or iOS.
A portfolio that showcases strategic insight, systematic thinking and visual design talent for a range of digital experiences including web, mobile, and/or app.
Excellent design and conceptual skills accompanied by the ability to guide, evaluate, and redirect creative development when necessary
Highly skilled with design and prototyping software .
Very proficient with motion and interaction design.
Extensive knowledge of web/iOS production and basic front-end engineering skills.
Strong communicator with exceptional presentation skills, able to articulate ideas with clarity, engage in healthy debate, and accept directional feedback — up and down a creative organization.
Ability to thrive in a challenging, fast-paced, creative workplace and to deliver quality work at a high volume in a tight timeframe
Experience building trust with multi-disciplinary partners on creative concepts and collaborating well with a team to find solutions to complex problems
Provides thoughtful guidance to junior creative staff, with an eye on mentorship and knowledge growth
Diligent, flexible, resourceful, and independent with a strong work ethic and organizational skills, willing to take risks, fail, and learn from mistakes
Demonstrates strong diplomatic skills to actively engage in healthy debate with stakeholders
Strong understanding of data science metrics and customer journey.
Proficiency drafting and/or consulting on documentation like production guidance and end-user instructions.
