Professional Services Consultant

APPLE INC has the following available in Austin, Texas. Lead cross-organization teams to roll out new products, systems, and solutions to market while ensuring complete confidentiality, driving organizational systems and people readiness. Own new product/systems/tool launch plans, providing updates on critical checkpoints and elevating risks to business partners and leadership team. Present, defend, and influence supply chain capability and technology roadmap to Apple’s leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. Develop and provide inputs to time dependency models for key milestones, building contingency plans and knowing when to recommend changes and/or when to escalate. Evaluate supply chain risks and implement contingency plans to mitigate consumer impact, including ad-hoc problem solving during unprecedented events. Identify process improvement opportunities (tools, workstreams, systems) and drive solutions from conception through implementation. Stitch across a global cross-functional teams throughout the supply chain, both technical and functional, adjusting communication and messaging for intended audience/stakeholders. Demonstrate and explain complex business plans/processes, systems, and/or tools with a focus on the upstream/downstream impact and relationship between multiple functions and/or decisions. Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to gain perspective on scalability, risk, and unique regional differences; drive best practices globally and strengthen harmony among integrations. Develop and utilize analytical models to evaluate complex data sets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive critical business decisions. Drive innovation opportunities within our supply chain aimed towards achieving Apple’s Sustainability and eco-friendly goals. 40 hours/week.

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Experience and/or education must include:

Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) cross functional engagement to ensure all partners are aligned to one plan to facilitate a successful launch
Utilizing Excel and Tableau for analysis to drive decisions when launching new products
Identifying business requirements and tool enhancement to improve efficiency and accuracy of plans and execution status
Interpreting data to identify risks, influence decisions and shift strategy
Identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks that could impact a project or new product introduction by creating contingency plans
Designing scalable workflows that improve predictability, speed, and quality of execution
Diagnosing root causes of delays or failures and implementing corrective actions quickly
Building integrated execution plans to meet clearly defined timelines
