Amazon is looking for a strategic, solutions-oriented Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to shape the future of our workforce. In this role, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders — coaching, challenging, and partnering with them to build high-performing, customer-obsessed organizations. You'll diagnose complex people and organizational challenges, design integrated solutions, and drive execution that accelerates business outcomes.
Key job responsibilities
A trusted influencer who builds credibility through expertise and data-backed recommendations — even without direct authority
Someone who thrives in ambiguity, navigates competing priorities, and makes high-velocity decisions with sound judgment
A forward-thinking problem solver who anticipates challenges, develops contingency plans, and applies creative thinking to complex organizational issues
A leader who is fluent in GenAI — exploring new tools, applying them ethically, and combining AI with human expertise to improve HR processes
A day in the life
Drive Organizational Effectiveness — Design people-focused strategies and structures that align with business goals, strengthen culture, and enable
agile, inclusive decision-making.
Develop Senior Leaders — Assess talent needs, build leadership pipelines, and coach leaders to grow their capabilities and break through mental models.
Lead Change — Identify risks and trends through listening mechanisms, influence leaders through change, and monitor outcomes for lasting impact.
Shape Talent Strategy — Build long-term, inclusive workforce plans, anticipate future capability gaps, and embed talent planning into the organization's rhythm of business.
