Are you ready to be part of a team that drives how marketing reaches our customer base at scale? The
AWS Launch Team, nestled within our
AWS Product Marketing organization, is looking for an outstanding Program Manager who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and wants to make a real impact on the developer journey.
This is not your average product management gig. You will be at the center of it all, leading multi-discipline initiatives that are as complex as they are rewarding. Think big, move fast, and collaborate with brilliant people across the organization to bring innovative programs to life.
Every day, you will work cross-functionally with teams across
AWS to provide meaningful feedback, craft compelling product proposals, and build products and programs that genuinely improve how marketing and internal development teams deliver innovative solutions to customers.
Key job responsibilities
- Work closely with internal stakeholders at all levels to identify their top pain points and needed improvements, then write proposals to gain project approvals from senior leadership. You'll then write requirements to define the path forward.
- Lead interactions with internal stakeholders across business and technical functions to help make trade-offs that meet project goals and improve programs.
- Keep projects on track through clear task lists, issue tracking, status reports, and meeting notes.
Influence senior leaders across
AWS and communicate changes, issues, and resolutions clearly to all stakeholders.
A day in the life
Your day revolves around obsessing over the internal stakeholder experience for those building, marketing, and delivering
AWS innovations to customers. You will collaborate across multiple teams and dive deep to identify friction points that slow down delivery to customers. You will regularly present those insights to leadership to improve processes and tools that help speed up delivery.
About the team
The
AWS Launch Team advocates for improvements to processes and tools that accelerate how
AWS innovations reach customers. We are heavily focused on automating delivery to save effort and speed time to market. Our mission is to identify friction points in existing workflows and implement automation that delivers measurable improvements. We work directly with internal stakeholders to understand real pain points and collaborate with product and engineering teams to bring that feedback into solutions that streamline the path from development to customer delivery.
