We are looking for a technical leader responsible for advancing the company’s environmental sustainability strategy with a focus on carbon accounting, climate strategy and external environmental reporting. This role leads the management of robust environmental data systems, ensures compliance across global disclosure frameworks, and drives measurable improvements in environmental performance across the enterprise.
How you’ll make an impact:
Oversee and manage the enterprise-wide greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory, including Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, ensuring alignment with leading standards such as the GHG Protocol. Own emissions data quality, validation, and assurance processes and track progresses against targets.
Support the development and execution of climate strategy, including science-based targets, by helping to translate goals into actionable plans. Partner across EHS, Facilities, Supply Chain, R&D and Corporate Impact to align priorities and drive execution. Serve as a subject matter expert to internal stakeholders, support supplier engagement on Scope 3, and interface with external auditors and assurance providers.
Lead preparation of external environmental disclosures, including CDP, TCFD/ISSB-aligned reporting, and other voluntary and mandatory reporting requirements. Ensure all reporting is accurate, consistent, and audit-ready, while monitoring and implementing evolving regulatory requirements.
Establish and manage environmental metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to track performance across energy, water, waste, and emissions. Provide data-driven insights to leadership and drive initiatives that deliver measurable improvements in environmental outcomes.
Define and manage environmental data systems, governance structures, and internal controls to ensure integrity and consistency of environmental data. Lead development of standardized methodologies and ensure integration with broader enterprise platforms and reporting tools.
What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience leading global sustainability programs, with a strong focus on sustainability reporting, climate strategy, and carbon accounting.
Proven leading enterprise-wide sustainability initiatives, including Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol, CDP reporting, Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI), emissions reduction strategies, and regulatory compliance.
On-site presence required to foster collaboration and engage with key stakeholders.
Willingness to travel up to 15% domestically and/or internationally to support global program execution.
What else we look for:
Master's degree or higher in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; advanced certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH).
Recognized subject matter expert in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), sustainability, and environmental compliance with demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide programs in a global manufacturing environment.
Deep expertise in greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, climate risk management, and decarbonization strategies, including application of the GHG Protocol and global reporting frameworks such as CDP, TCFD, ISSB, CSRD).
Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting requirements related to air emissions, water stewardship, hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, energy management, chemicals management, and resource conservation.
Advanced understanding of occupational health and safety regulations and management systems, including OSHA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and global EHS regulatory frameworks.
Proven track record of developing and executing long-term EHS and sustainability strategies that align with business objectives, operational excellence initiatives, and corporate sustainability commitments
Demonstrated ability to influence executive leadership and drive organizational change through data-driven decision-making, risk mitigation strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Demonstrated success leading large-scale environmental compliance, sustainability transformation, climate initiatives, or EHS risk reduction programs across multiple sites and geographies.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $139,000 to $196,000 (highly experienced).
